The staff were outstandingly accommodating and the breakfast was exceptionally good with croissants. I stayed in a deluxe room with excellent bathroom that had dog-friendly policy. I was here for 1 day and would stay there again.

We were upgraded to deluxe king room on check in. A roll top bath in the separate bathroom was a plus.

Plot twist, it's actually great!
What a good surprise! The room was impeccablysuper clean and cozy, with an amazing ensuite. We loved the ample coffee options and the delicious, generous breakfast. The bar was cozy and staff were great too. The roast dinner was extraordinary, possibly the best we've had! Can't wait to return!

Had a pleasant time at Percy Arms, enjoying the lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was fresh and tasty, though the service was a bit slow due to staffing issues. It was a nice country retreat, but a few details might need attention.

Noise from the bar disrupted sleep quality as the music was intrusive late into the night!!! The absence of milk in the room for coffee upon arrival was like a missed basic expectation!!!

The room was beautiful with great amenities, but the kitchen smell was strong.

The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The bathroom had both a shower and a separate clawfoot bath, great. The food here is fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the evening meals, generous portions, and good variety. Breakfast was enjoyable too, although the timing of service could be improved. I had issues with the poached eggs not being cooked properly, but when I switched to fried eggs, they were fine. A slight inconsistency in service at breakfast made it a bit hit or miss. Staff were friendly and cute. There were a couple of minor annoyances, like a lack of shelving in the bathroom for toiletries and a common odor coming from the kitchen in some rooms . Cleaning could also be better. I noticed a few dust spots in public areas. All in all, I appreciated the charm of the place and the quality of the meals. I would certainly consider returning despite the small shortcomings.

The Percy Arms offered a good culinary experience. Each dish was expertly crafted-particularly impressed by the well-prepared lamb shank. The breakfast service could improve on timeliness. The staff's warmth and the charming atmosphere more than compensated for small hiccups during my stay.
